Boardmatch Ireland is the only Irish charity that specialises in
not-for-profit board recruitment - placing individuals onto the boards
of not-for-profits is what we get up in the morning for. We are
currently seeking to appoint an Interim CEO to provide cover for
Maternity leave.
We are passionate about improving governance in the not-for-profit
sector by bringing as many talented, professional, motivated,
purpose-driven and NEW people into the sector to serve on boards.?We
strive for more diverse boards in the sector. We know that getting
board recruitment right will have a transformative effect on the
sector and this is what drives us daily. If you would like to be part
of that movement, working with a professional and highly motivated
team with excellent skills, we?d like to talk to you.
You will need to be an individual with previous experience of managing
teams. You will need not-for-profit experience and be someone who is
happy to lead from the front in terms of the core activities the team
undertakes ? Having a good knowledge of charity governance, talking
with not-for-profits on a daily basis, developing relationships with
private and public sector companies who may want their management
teams placed on boards, and developing excellent ties with our
strategic partners. You will need to be financially literate, happy at
presenting to our own board and providing advice, support, guidance
and direction to the Boardmatch team.
You might be working at the moment in a consultancy role, where this
role would add some consistency and additional experience to your
portfolio. Or perhaps you?re in between executive roles at the
moment and this experience could give you a new dimension on your CV?
Or you could be someone who is approaching the end of the full-time,
executive phase of your career, and this appointment could act as a
bridge into the next phase of your career. Whatever your situation,
